It really is all about research. I’ve been to a holistic nutritionist who gave me a juice fasting/detox program and I know other people treated by him and their skin is glowing, their energy is up, they lost weight and did have detox symptoms but the three that I’ve been in contact with are elated that they did it and have recommended it to family members and friends. @amuda1 I agree with u. If one goes on a correct detox which is getting in ur nutrients esp important ones like protein in with what you have in the juice…ur body will ultimately be ok. Aloe vera has the essential amino acids that the body needs to perform the necessary functions of protein makeup. Irish moss, fever or lemon grass, tumeric etc do other things. One needs vitamin C and vitamin A to act as anti-oxidants — and it goes on. Its all about research.
i have gotten really sick aswell, you have to be very careful with detoxing and expecially when your comeing off the detox too. But yes a good detox is healthy but people should really do a lot of research before starting any kind of detox. They should learn about the symptoms of different things that can happen. People should always take a detox slower at first if it’s their first time or it’s been a long time since they cleansed.

@silenttt11337799 my point is its worthwhile to fast if you do it correctly, to minimize muscle loss, you have to continue with your strength training, thats how i maintained my strength and minimized muscle loss. and you have to break the fast VERY gently, so that you give your metabolism a chance to catch up. most people will not do either one of these thngs when they fast, so of course theyre gonna believe someone like u who comes along trying to convince them that it doesnt work
@silenttt11337799 i said i lost fat, i didnt say how much fat i lost. I lost water and a little muscle as well but my strength stayed the same, and because i had a fresh new start and clean bowels, im no longer constipated which really helps. i broke the fast very gently, thats not something most people can do, its very hard because ur tempted to try everything out again. im starting to lose a lot more fat now, i didnt “gain” weight or fat, my body fat percentage is down to 17% from 21% before

@Converted2Islam2008 huh? Your body doesnt know a thing, otherwise all youd need to do is tell it you want to lose weight and it will. Your body works systematically. Fat doesnt mean you drop pounds on the scale, fat means you get rid of fat cells. You can lose ‘fat’ all over but if you dont actually get rid of the cells it wasnt fat you lost at all. It is un natural to lose that much fat in 10 days. You my friend got fooled into thinking you lost a lot of fat.

this guy is such a moron, i cant believe he made such an uneducated video and humiliated himself. not to mention he blatantly LIED. i went on a 10 day fast, i kept up my strength training and i lost a lot of fat especially on my face. i was able to retain my muscle because i still USED them. when u strength train during a fast then ur body KNOWS that u need the muscle more than the fat, so it goes after the fat, BUT if u do nothng, then yes youll lose the muscle and keep mostly fat

do not listen to this video. a good detox is filled with healthy antioxident type foods which purefy your system. I don’t know what detox this guy went on, but I am certain no doctor would have recommended something that would cause what he is talking about.
