Hello all. I believe that distilled water is absoloutly the purest and best water to consume. All you have to do is add mineral drops to your water, this will give you the desired hardness, not to mention a near perfect ph balance. Having a diet that carries a positive ph balance gives optimum health. A good tip to alkalize system, in the morning use 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and add 1 lemon juiced, fill to 1/2 glass with distilled water. then again at night. Cheers!

I have a reverse osmosis filter. I can measure the TDS and crank it up to 300 but what about the hardness factor?

How can I measure the hardness factor?

    Please, help.

Thanks GodsBeautifulGirl77,…I appreciate the compliment. I try to work at it everyday. I do lots of reading. Maybe together we can help Sean along to get to the point where he can speak intelligently on these things. He’s going back to High School you know,….this time he’s going to get that darn degree. He needs to retake Chemistry, Biology, Calculus, and Basic English Compostion. A Speech Class wouldn’t hurt either. If he can do this,..he will be a real life—High School Graduate!!

I’ve been drinking bottled water now for about 3 months, the only quarms I have is that high mineral water can harden the artereies. An plastic bottles leach chemicals and hormones which are oestrogen like. V bad! So best to get glass bottles, which are harder to find and more expensive. Life is a dilemma. You just gotta not care sometimes, but if you have the money and the means then why not?

5000?LOL BUT they may have drunk about 2-litres if you are talking about thousands of years ago, how do you know they didn’t.

I know here in britain the railway builders drank 3 gallons of beer a day. Yes I know that’s beer, but beer used to be a lot weeker, “small beer” was virtually non-alcoholic.

You’re right about the cardio. You’re right about crunches. You’re right about lowering bodyfat. But you’re NOT right about water. Water will have no effect.

Do cardio for 15 to 20 minutes, no more than that. Cardio that might be consisting of running, or jogging. You won’t get a 6 pack just by doing crunches. In order to see the abs, your bodyweight has to be lowered. Yes, drinking water will help as well.

Here is some of the bad foods:

pop, any kind of cereal, yogart, poptarts, nutrition bars, shakes, processed fruit juice, potatoe fries, lazanya, ketchup, dip, apple sauce, ice cream, white bread, Craizins, nuts with processed sugar added

pizza is OK, because it is not loaded with sugar, but if you do, watch the sodium intake

fruits and vegetables are sugary, but they have antioxidents and nutrients in them, so they are good 4 u :)
    the more organic, the better
