These guys are right but its true that it is a bit misleading. sustained, slow pace cardio is not as effective as high intensity interval training. you may have had good results off the bat with your slow, low intensity work out, but eventually your body is going to adapt and your weight loss is going to plateau. ive seen fat men and women finish the boston marathon in under 4 hours, which is considered pretty good for your average person.

The problem is that healthy food sucks. If anything healthy tasted as good as that pizza, I would eat it.

so i understand what they are saying, but their experiment is misleading. cardio is pretty important but no, u cant eat a bucket of crisco daily and expect to lose weight

i can only comment on my own experience. im 6′6″ and was 403lbs two months ago. since then ive cut 32 lbs. i use a tread mill but only run at a 5mph pace. but i can hold that pace for 45 min straight (i worked up to this). my calories burned after this work out is approximately 1300. i understand the point they are making but that guy is using the mill wrong. its not how fast you go but how long you go. But i have also curbed my diet by drinking more water and cutting out all sodas.

You can certainly eat pizza/drink fizzy and still lose weight so long as you maintain your hypocaloric balance …not to say that you SHOULD have junk food comprise your diet, since you’d compromise the micronutrition afforded by less refined foodstuffs.

The overall slant of the video’s nice but one quirk- referring to cardio as a “joke” is plain unwarranted. Both aerobic and anaerobic training has its place in the context of a balanced and varied exercise regime. Kudos to that gaz guy too.

im sorry to tell you, but it does not take a long time to lose weight and it’s for people that do not have time to exercise or diet or any of that. body magic takes at the max, one month to get down to the weight that you are supposed to be. You must do your research before you make any intelligent judgments.

If you want to do it like that , it will take you a long time to lose any weight.

I lost 50 ilbs in a short period of time, doing little to no cardio. Just ate better, a bit less for a while. Cardio isn’t overrated, just people don’t know when to place cardio into their routines, or how. Doing 2 hours of cardio versus 2 hours of decent weightlifting, weightlifting is proven to make you lose more weight than cardio alone.

Well, before a big 3-4 hour workout or a football game. I would eat a full pizza or a huge bowl of spaghetti. Basically for the energy. But I was going to burn loads of calories due to all the of intense workout.

You are what you eat, such a true statement. I mean, eating junk every now and then isn’t a bad thing. But, eating healthy, organic things and eating a lot compared to eating a lot of microwavable isn’t so bad. Delissio is probably the better choice of pizza aswell.
